Francesca Bazaco: MY STRENGTHS

About Me

My name is Francesca Bazaco, and I am a first-year biology major at High Point University. I plan to exercise my leadership abilities and grow in my academic knowledge while I am here. I have a passion for science and life, and I am dedicated to pursuing a career in medicine one day.

In high school, I participated in an Air Force JROTC program, where I strengthened my community ties through service. I thrived in the environment, being tested constantly on not only my physical skills, but my emotional skills as well.

I also graduated as a National Honor Society student with the standing of Summa Cum Laude, which attests to my drive and willingness to participate and succeed.

While being under pressure academically, I also struggled through my final year of high school after a traumatic motor vehicle incident. Overcoming the issues I faced left me with resilience and strength I did not know I possessed. I am grateful to be where I am, and success continues to drive my work ethic. I do not allow obstacles to stop me from reaching my goals.
